Microflow CVO Flow Control System
An intuitive, easy to program graphical interface to design and perform flow experiments. The system supports up to 16 reagents using four valves and four Teledyne Reaxus LD-class pumps (PEEK, 1500 psi). The incorporation of a thermal reactor (up to 350 C), Microflow CVO’s micromixer technology, and a robotic dispensing system make this a versatile platform for reaction discovery and synthesis. In-line spectroscopic integration with FTIR and UV-vis is also available.
Agilent LC-MS-TOF
This Agilent 1290 HPLC system coupled to a 6230B Accurate Mass TOF LC/MS offers excellent reaction separation and analysis for both organic and inorganic materials. A variety of columns are available for separation prior to MS analysis.
Anton Paar SAXSpace
A lab-scale system for small-angle and wide-angle x-ray scattering (SAXS and WAXS, respectively) that features a variable sample-to-detector distance to adjust the q-space for the intended analysis. This allows for size (approx.0.5 – 120 nm), size distribution, morphology, and sample domains to be interrogated. The Cu K source can be adjusted to either line- or point-collimation, and a variety of sample types are supported, e.g., liquids, solutions, solids, pastes). A temperature-controlled stage also allows for data collection between -30 ˚C and 150 ˚C.
Buchi Mini Spray Dryer
The spray dryer supports particle size production of 2 – 24 m, and has an Inert Loop for samples in organic solvents.
Cordouan Amerigo DLS
The Cordouan Amergio provides particle size and zeta potential analysis during dynamic-light scattering and laser-doppler electrophoresis to determine particle size, surface charge, and particle stability. An external Vasco Kin source is also available to test sealed samples.
Corning Nebula CE Reactor
The easy-to-use interface monitors flow rates, temperatures, and pressures to guide the flow experiment. This educational and demonstration platform is easily transported to introduce the fundamentals of flow chemistry to students and collaborators.
Mettler Toledo 720 ReactIR
The 720L ReactIR has a chemically-reistant DiComp flow cell for reaction monitoring between 650-4000 cm-1.
Ocean Insight UV-Vis
The UV-Vis spectrophotometer has a QE Pro (190-1100 nm) spectrometer with DH-2000 deuterium-tungsten lamp coupled via fiber optic cables to a PEEK flow cell for reaction monitoring.
Sairem Microwave Generator
A 450 W, 2.45 GHz microwave generator with spin cavity for inductive heating of flow reactions.
