The Micromeritics AccuPyc II is a fully automatic gas displacement pycnometer. Gas pycnometry is recognized as one of the most reliable techniques for obtaining skeletal volume and density. Density and volume are determined by measuring the pressure change of helium (or other analysis gas) within calibrated cell volumes. AccuPyc II 340 Pycnometer at ATAMI has a 1 cm3 sample chamber with a 0.1 cm3 sample cup.
Applications
- Measuring small, dry sample volumes
